First time at the track? That's not a bad 60ft for street tires. That trap sucks for your mods though. I would look for issues with the car. It doesn't look like it's making much power.

Get it together Danman... when I was running your mods, I was tearing transmissions to pieces.

I need to redo my trans for sure it's taking a long time to shift and hitting the rev limiter

If you don't have parts lined up...you should start being nice to it. I dislike car work in the cold.

He has another trans.....unless this is that trans? I'm pretty sure Greg had his hand in a trans rebuild for this car, but again I drive a Cavalier so my words are meaningless.

I have a lower mileage stock trans in the garage. Maybe I'll swap them and rebuild mine

Is it just hitting the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift? Or 2-3 as well? If your bouncing off the limiter, you'd be surprised how bad that kills your time.
