Well see how the bigger turbo does and see if the trans can hold together for one last day of racing. Lambos and other euro cars are waiting

Everyone in this thread has no clue what a fast car feels like. Get off dude's nuts.
Just wanted to say congrats on the car and regardless it's pretty dam quick with the things you've done. If someone else compares there whore fiero to yours please destroy them again. For fwd this is is good.
I'd look into finding a anti lift solution or a shock with a **** ton of rebound built in so the car can try and keep some weight on the tires.
Best of luck though man.

Thanks again. Ran today it was 100f and humid but that didnt affect my ET as im
Not maxed out power wiser i cranked boost a few psi.
But the track had Zero prep sine i chose the worst day eurokracy event never seen that many cars people and HOT chicks in one event. The gtp was a huge hit with the crowd many hundreds came and inspected.
I ran 11.2 @ 129 mph with a crappy 2.0 60 foot. Thats a street tire 60 foot.
A 9 sec pro car was running 11s and touched the 10s later. 1000hp vr6 3.0l with slicks and 1700-1800lbs !
Only car quicker that day. Not even the pro mod was quicker as it stupidly tried a run on that slick track he changed lanes.
I beat a fast supra he was fighting traction. Beat the 11s civic, audi s4 heavily modded
Tomorrow is a real race day and they have the pros on the track so they promise a sticky track

Honestly I had nothing but smiles and props. people came looked at the car, saying good run.
They've been had but they were sport about it. Everyone was amazed and how many stock parts were in the car.
I had to say stock engine 3-4 times before most would really grasp the concept lol...
What language is that?
french I'm guessing?
appears to be canadaland. so french i guess.

11.1 today @ 127 mph. Horribly hot and not a cloud in the sky. There was glue alright but not very sticky.
Can't get the car to 60 foot at all in these conditions 1.9x 60 foot.
My average on a street tire GTP in normal conditions are 2.0 and best 1.9x.
So the good news is I'm 11.1 with a street tire 60 foot![]()
Take it to the better track you mentioned, gotta hit 10.xx before you take it apart! You're so damn close it's not funny...
It was the better track but they only prep race days. It was a racw day today but the glue was not effective at all due to too high temps and very sunny. Track temps too high.
With my 1.69 60 foot i had when i ran 11.0 but with 4-5 more mph i would be 10.6-10.7
But i need the right conditions. There was a head wind today not helping

So as reminder here's the low down on the car again for those who have missed it.
11.0 best E.T.
129 mph best MPH
7.1 best 1/8 mile E.T.
101 mph best 1/8 mile MPH
0-60 in 2.7 seconds (on a good track)
160K all original stock engine (original head gasket and all)
160K all original stock transmission (in safe mode 2nd gear starts)
Stock axles of course
Still running stock injectors
still running stock MAF with screen removed.
Bigger fuel pump/fuel cell, raised Fuel pressure to sustain high HP. high 12s A/F on C16 race fuel
Zero KR...
Ran 11s for five consecutive sessions. Over 100 runs without failure.
They said, it couldn't be done... LOL
Can tell the trans is killing ya.. (or are you killing that trans??)
When I was 7.1x 1/8th's, I was already in the 10.8's with my heavier setup. Be interesting what you would
pick up with a clean shifting trans and converter setup. Can keep trying to throw more power at it for tiny gains.
What PSI you launching at? (Sorry if missed it) ... at my yocal track for test and tune, glue and prep is not good at all.
Launching at 10psi started to net some good gains to get into the 1.5's.. but my case i just got to the 1/8th quicker,
but in the 1/4 not much improvement.. damn converter slip.
AS far as weight, don't think I'm lighter than you probably equal.
More power actually decreased MPH and increased E.T.Be interesting what you would

There is a sweet spot between trans slip and power at the moment 129 mph traps is all that trans can handle with headwind. Maybe 131 without a head wind.
Just seeing your video, the prep has to be good. Nothing like what we have here I'd bet a lot of money on that. What PSI you launching at? (Sorry if missed it) ... at my yocal track for test and tune, glue and prep is not good at all.
Normally the track I went to this weekend is good. But the temps made the glue slippery at one point I thought my trans was shot, that's how much I spun. didn't hear the squeal from the tire.
But it was not the case.
I will get 1.6s if I can a little luck and good track prep. But one thing I don't have and you had is the cable mod or suspension mods.Launching at 10psi started to net some good gains to get into the 1.5's.. but my case i just got to the 1/8th quicker,
but in the 1/4 not much improvement.. damn converter slip.
That is holding me back a little but track prep is #1 of my problems at the moment. 2nd is trans slip.
Either one removed and I'm 10s all day. My trans takes over 1 full second to shift into 3rd while I lost a lot of acceleration.
The new turbo is pretty challenging to launch.
Since I have a stock converter I have trouble building boost off the line.
I have to spool for at least 3 seconds to get decent boost 8-9 psi I launch or else I just light up the slicks and then I lose 2 tenths right there.
The other turbo made is easier to modulate power as it responded instantly. I also made less power.
If I ever go back again I will go with a progressive boost off the line, and then get into full power 200 feet out.
