Civics will never get their due even when done correctly, on this site...but let's face it....there are much more impressive civics out there, than there are Grand Prixs....on the other hand, there just also happens to be much more POS Hondas out there than any other car brand...
Wife's. Brother has a 2012 civic si with a turbo, at 6psi he has 360whp
Pretty wicked, the body is completely stock except the aluminum intercooler in front
the 8th gen variation of the k series handles boost very well...add the Kraftwerks Supercharger kit for example BNIB for around 5k, raise boost levels to around 9-10 psi, and you should yield 380-400 WHP with stock internals, and stock transmission other than an upgraded clutch...when done correctly, like most vehicles, they can definitely surprise most...
Lets face it nothing gets any form of appreciation or respect from the nutswingers thats fwd. I try take each platform for what its worth.
a fwd grand prix will never be a mighty rwd car, thus making it even more insult to injury when a rwd car gets walked......
As for the honda crowd hell id be happy with even a fraction of the aftermarket support them damn things have!!!
tru dat. GPs have a pretty good following, very easy to make quick.
i kinda miss my GP a bit, but i wouldnt trade it back thats for sure :-p
Deleted for fear of a retort that is factual. My cars are snickering each time you post.
hondas are slow when my car was stock an i raced a friends 2009 si an he was all hiped to beat me but i smoke him from dig an from a 50mph roll , only thing they have is being small an light an the huge aftermarket an easy to turbo up
So then...why are you posting out here? All you do out here on the Grand Prix forum is rip on cars that are relatively fast in the GP world, and talk about how your stuff is faster, and these cars aren't fast and blah blah blah...True - in the grand scheme of things, the GP is not a very fast car, and will never be as fast as a built TA or other car that was actually intended to be a performance car as opposed to the GP, which was designed/built to be a kid hauler/every day driver that is decent on gas with decent power for what it is. Why are you even out here?
It's his daily.
I mean, I could talk about my 300+k mile rust bucket Accord if you'd like to add more fuel to the fire?
