Hey if a guy really fine-tunes his bag-o-trix and pays attention to the rules, he can mop the floor bracket racing with a car like yours. I'm just glad somebody is out there playing at it. I want to be, but the nearest 1/4 mile is a long way from here and as I said, you can hardly get in now. Not like I want to be. Takes a lot of practice, but the results sure are satisfying. Enjoy yourself, man.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

Yeah it's a ton of fun. I'll be spending a lot of time there this summer. It's only about 30-45 minutes away so it's not bad at all.

Even though R/T's don't mean squat unless you're bracket racing...you can sit at the light for ten minutes and still run the same time.

I'd stay in the throttle past the yellow lights though, that might equate for the slightly slower than I thought trap speeds. I'd leave the car in 3rd gear too for S&G's for a couple passes the next time you go, TCS off, and maybe drop the psi in the front tires and take the headlight out. Just things to halp. Especially if you do the headers with the pulley drop...might not be a bad idea to drop a gallon of race gas in it too, just incase. Remove the spare tire and all that business as well. Tons of things you can do before running again. I friggen miss the drag strip we had locally here so much...they shut it down a few years back maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

Next time around I'm gonna take my spare out, take the headlight off, and see what it does lol. I should probably mention I was running 110 octane race gas to keep my runs kr free.

It's just some zip ties and chicken wire...with the headlight capsule gutted. Like $3 worth of junk lol. I guess five times the investment is worth it?

Also keep in mind excessive octane isn't worth it if it doesn't need it.

    And...93 wouldn't have?

Headers aren't the be all end all of knock killing, either.

I'm not saying it was. It just helped to run a higher octane since he went to the track basically stock that's all I'm saying

I'll make a couple trips to Edgewater this year. I usually head up to Kil-Kare though.
