just for kicks in looking into this more, so the first time u LOST to him by at least half car to a full car before your 'mods' as well as having a ~240lb passenger, and now in the 2nd race against him, u ONLY managed to run 'equal' WITH your new mods now. sounds like the mods didnt do crap against a car that only has headers, 3.25" pulley(knocking alot i bet), 'injectors', CAI, and exhaust which is most likely a low to mid 14 second car-equates to a nearly stock L67 basically.
Just a question for mr. vtech do you really even know what that does to your engine or are you just able to read it on the engine cover?

Are cars are very even in stock form or even modded. You guys can add a bunch of bolt-ons and a tune. I can do the same except add a s/c or turbo. Turbo puts 380whp and 330tq. Not sure about the s/c, but it isn't very efficient on my car...maybe 300whp with the car stock. Stop fighting over this useless crap and post your kills/deaths. I never started a damn fight, but I'm not gonna sit here and let you rip on my car and not fight back.
The GTP and CL-S/TL-S are neck and neck stock...even modded they are...as seen in my experiences. I agree that you can make a GTP faster...but with alot of mods and tuning. Then it basically becomes a drag car...I'm not saying your car is slow by any means, but it isn't faster then the CL-S unless your HEAVILY modded. I'm also not saying my car is fast. It's a low 14 second car. Thats quick for a V6 with two bolt-ons n/a. Add a s/c or a t/b and it becomes faster and levels the playing field if you're heavily modded
Sure I could go get an apexi neo and tune my car...add a s/c or turbo...get a leightweight stock size pulley set, etc, but I'de just get a camaro LS1 or old school GNX if I want a damn race car. This is my DD with some get up and thats all I ask of it.

NO...something that is excessively moddified in every way. Basic bolt ons are alright. But I don't believe I daily driver should have a stall, shift kit, rebuilt tranny, tune, pulleys, headers, exhaust, intake, different spark plugs, cams, etc.
There's a difference between modding you car for a little more performance and then going all out on your daily driver. It has nothing to do if it would beat my car. Like I said. My car is quick...its not fast. I'm happy with how fast it is and what cars I've beat. If I wanted faster I'de get a car with rwd and better potential...and it wouldn't be my dd.
I really like GTP's and would like to own one, but it's funny how some of these guys that say my car is rice have way worse looking cars with gigantic hood scoops and exhaust. This whole argument should have never taken place. Some people can't jsut answer a damn question b/c they can't respect a car that isn't domestic. I respect a car if it deserves respect. That includes domestics which I am not a huge fan of except for corvettes, gtp's, and gto's. I'm not a huge fan of mustangs or camaros. It goes to show a car deserves respect when it can be just as fast with a n/a 4cyclinder as a v6 s/c

So a DD should not be tuned and have mods that can increase gas mileage? I see many cars on hear that have headers, smaller pulley, cam etc. Your so called drag car and get 30mpg on the highway. Tell me what is wrong with having a fast car that gets good gas mileage and driving it everyday? That seams like a great DD to me?

So let me get this straight ace...You think a DD can have bolt-ons, but anything with a INTAKE, EXHAUST, SPARK PLUGS, TUNE, is excessively modded? And don't go trying to defend that b/c you said that right up there ^^ Go put a stick up your ass, love it, and do us all the favor by not coming back. You also talk about respect. I respect a lot of non-domestic cars, as do others. STi's, Evo's, Supra's, Properly built 4 bangers, like my buddy's 500HP 1G Talon.
