Okay so i'm heading home from Searcy on the freeway speed here is 70. Im going 75 and a GTO flys by me. I admire it cause wow they are sooo purrty!! Well I notice I'm getting closer to it. Well now im right beside him he romps it and i'm like lol okay..ya..no! Well I slow down to 60 I HATE it when people pace me and I didn't wanna have my butt handed to me so I didn't punch it. Well he stayed right beside me. I slowed down to 50! Still beside me!!! So I honked once he honked...well I did the whole 3 and floored it!! I PULLED HIM!!!! I got up to 110-115 and had a good finder on him the WHOLE TIME!! Ya ya I know it was prolly a driver error lol but i'm not going to tell the story that way! lol!! Or maybe my car is just a "factory" freak! lol Anyways! Im proud of myself! lol

You should have went to Branson. There was a GTO there that got whomped on by more than one GP as I recall.

So it was possible for me to beat him? I know when I had my 05 I would race pretty much anything and win alot of the times! But there is not very many "fast" cars around here. My 05 was running in the 9s to low 10s in 1/8 . I have not took the 07 to the track yet.

    Wow...... 10-13's.....? In the 1/8th? 13's aren't even fast in the 1/4.

10 to 13's??? He said 8-9's and 13's in the 1/4 might not be fast but still very respectable, a 13 knockin on 12's door makes for a very fun day at the track and even more so at a stop light every now and then.

Yes I SOOO agree!! And at first I thought he was just slowing down but you could hear his engine trying to catch up! I have just basic magnaflow exhaust system and KN air filter. Thats why I didn't even wanna waste my time! My friend said he was just trying to let me win to get my number...LOL. I dunno I just think maybe his GTO was flogged out BADDDDD and he cant drive! lol Or he never down shifted I dunno! But IMO I shouldnt have won! lol

Give here a little respect, she could have just outright beat them. As I mentioned earlier I saw several GP's whoop up on GTO in Branson and heck, I even think Lori in her Trans Am put the GTO behind her.

with just an intake and exhaust?? its possible but when i had my intake i got ran down by a gto pretty easily.

im deffently not saying its not possible but im just being realistic, IMO the gto has having some fun.

Poor Swash...I'll back him up...he did spin alot and his best time of the day was a 13.9 and all he has done to it is a Spintech muffler...

    It is an '04 A4 GTO...so a 350 crank HP LS1...yeah not TOO fast

Good killl, although I think he shoulda pulled ya top end...LS1's NEVER seem to stop pulling

Dude, people seriously need to realize a GTO isn't a god of a car like everyone thinks it is. It's border line worthless in a near stock form.
