yeah i hear ya there, 4 years we've been sorting out issues and fixing things...with the fresh trans we were soooo psyched to get to 10's....nooooope lol
at this point once the Armet/converter go back in we'll stick to the dyno till all the other parts are on and installed...then go nuts

believe it or not at the slip/hook his converter lost/gained load so for a moment the turbine may have freewheeled then under load the sprag locks up and suddenly your multiplying tq...ALOT, enough to shear the IS.

We searched till we found one of the 1200hp GMR Armet 100 input shafts and are modifying the converter for the Oring groove.
the Armet material is much more ductile than the standard steels and more fracture resistant so its able to flex down its length to absorb the shock loading.

we shredded the sprags of two "500hp" converters before we stepped up to the billet...the sprags got hammered enough that they just slipped...

nah thats about it. we make tons of tq and all it takes is a shock load. hell ive been wanting to go to a 28x9 or 28x10 wrinkle wall to get the sidewall to absorb some of the shock.

it aint easy being a big dog lol
