Put some stock wheels on it and go faster.
Unsuspecting what...V6 four liter mustangs?
I am going to have to agree with the above posts. Don't bother racing with those big wheels. They eat up power. I have been to several dyno days where guys were ticked at what power they put down so they would swap their back tires with someone else who had lighter/smaller tires and picked up a bunch of power. These weren't tires as big as yours either. Think 20" wheels on a FBody or Corvette.
Considering how much $$$ people spend trying to get more power, you can do it much easier by swapping wheels. I would imagine with those wheels there aren't too many cars you will surprise and beat by a decent margin unless you have significant mods.
As also mentioned, you are putting strain on your transmission with those bigger wheels even if you aren't beating on it. Miami is a warm climate so I bet your trans temps stay up most of the time even with stock wheels. The bigger wheels are making it worse and shortening the life of your transmission even if you aren't beating on it. Do you at least have a tranny cooler on it?
I understand what you guys are saying, however to each his own. I have beat a few cars racing though. mostly hondas. i played with a 2003 monte carlo supercharged. But didnt get to line up evenly. The car right now feels how it did when it was stock hence why i want to race a stock 04+ grand prix
Someone race this boy.
Where's dmalghihkgihikkikikGT or whatever, he's in florida.
So is Z28phoenix.
with the money that would have cost, i would probably be able to do a LS-4 swap... and get F body brakes with coil overs and stiffer sway bars...
If your car looked like that I'd try to have you committed.
