Just having some fun...buddy of mine picked up a really clean blue on blue '91 Eclipse GSX 5-spd.

Got it leak free, did a tune up...found out it had an EvoIII 16G on it already with a K&N open element filter, everything else being stock and having pretty low mileage (I think around 120~k)...running just shy of 14~ psi at the shift...running it around 6500 or so.

Anywho, did a 50~ roll last night...went to about 100~ ish...GSX had me by like half a car and was creeping away pretty slow. I was really impressed honestly since we were just screwing around. The real race was the GSX against my another 1G Laser with full exhaust, FMIC, 18~psi, and some other babbles/bolt-ons. Waiting for my buddy to get it posted on the tube. For the ones here that are friends with me, it's on the book of face. I think with an LE5 TB/Tune this thing would run with it, as the 2.2's are supposed to pick up 20~ whp with a tune/tb upgrade.

    That link is here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151403256007097

For any DSM people out there on here...I know there are a few that would know...what are the 1G DSM's supposed to run stock anyways? We were thinking mid to low 15's...FWD being a little slower off the line...input there?

Maybe in say, 1992- Nowadays to find one running at all is miraculous enough.

That sounds about right. Stock 1g 5 speeds were 210 bhp from the factory IIRC. With the 16G he has the capability of around 300whp before it maxes out so he could essentially double his hp with it. Of course more fuel will be needed, but either way it could easily be a low 12 second car.

    He's a truck guy...

He bought it for simple bolt-ons and a daily.

I said: You bought the wrong car.
