To be nice about it, IF you lost to that Hyundai in a G8, you should lose the right to drive.

I don't get what the big deal about trying to take a $17,000 car from the 90s and make it beat $20,000+ vehicles from the 90s is achieving.

By today's standards, 4-spd auto with a 6-banger that only gets 20/29 mpg yet ONLY makes 200hp is ****.
What's even more **** is when the same car with a supercharged makes only 240hp, and then requires more expensive gas.

If a Hyundai walked me, I'd not be surprised.

    ^True story. Sadly.

Also what speed did you pull from in that first video? I'm NA too, and I can't get grip for **** in wet weather Below 40 MPH. Spin city.

That's weird. Even before I tuned my torque management away, I could not get grip at all in the rain in first.

Just because it improved vastly doesn't mean its not still cheaply made. You can't make a <$30,000 car with $50,000 worth of parts. In order to make a profit they still make them cheap, they just got a better idea on style and powertrain.

I will say they have both improved and truthfully I want a Genesis something fierce, but for the most part, they are both still cheap cars

Dont feel so bad. I just dusted a GTP with my new work van by at least 3 cars (Gotta love a 6 speed tap shift and a 7 grand redline). And nothing is more embarrassing than getting bussed by a minivan. Im about to line it up with my GTP to see what it can do. I know my car is faster, but I want to see by how much.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

I can see where you are coming from about the embarassing thing,
I had a 99 eclipse GS and I got smoked by a minivan and a bunch of old beater cars, was embarassed and ended up trading eclipse for gtp xD
