And here I was expecting to see the Aflac duck with a pulley.

seeing the speedo hit 50 in first almost makes me miss my 2.93 gears......then it shifts into 3rd gear

there is, maybe a christmas present for me. will be a good tune.

and yeah the long gears are nice sometimes. you can definitely see the shift to 3rd.. acceleration slowed down quite a bit

what do you think about it? seems slow to me? but it is on a canned tune and possible belt slip.

Seems right about where I was on cam and 3.4 pulley. I thought I had belt slip swapping from 3.4 to 3.1 because I only picked up 1psi but I put a brand new tensioner on and got no change so I wiped off the coolant tank and its still clean 500miles later. With 2.93 I loved roll racing people from 25-100 because my car only shifted once but I couldn't never roll from above 70 because I would get killed as soon as it shifted to 3rd. Now ill roll with anyone up to 140 or so. From the point your at a DHP and e85 if its an option would be the most bang for the buck. I went from 13.33 to 12.84 doing the gears and e85...cost me $190 total but my gears were free and I already had the DHP

well im thinking my belt is too big, so the tensioner is not applying enough tension.

i raced a s2000 with intake header and exhaust and beat him from a 50 punch on the 3.5, had to start it in 2nd or else he would rape me off the punch like you said.

when you say im around where you were with your 3.4, im guessing bc yours was tuned and making the most power out of the 3.4 setup? E85 really isnt an option for me, 93 octane is what im able to use. not enough E85 stations available around here.

I had my trans tables set to go into manual 1 all the way up to like 5k rpm so I could roll race people from around 30 and stomp them. Plus being able to tune I was running an advanced timing map to fully utilize 93 oct. with no KR. It was pretty quick for a 3.4"/non-ic setup I stayed dead nuts with a 04 comp g that was running a 3.1/ssic/headers and 1.9RR's. I got pulled on bad by a bolt on 350z and 4th gen t/a out on the freeway though because it fell on its face so hard in 3rd. I dont have a E85 station in town here either, its 20 miles away so I take my truck and a 55 gallon drum and get 3 weeks worth at once. It is totally worth it for me, I picked up more power at once putting my E85 setup together than anything else ive done to the car since I bought it.
