I decided to ditch the turbo build I was planning for my car, and instead added another gtp to my collection. The recent purchase has a few more extras than any other of my cars.. There is a local car club that HATES grand prixs and anything without a v8 for that matter. Long story short, kid in cobra has ran his mouth forever about "gtpoops". He's always had mommy and daddy sponsored cars, ie. camaro, corvette, and cobra. Showed up to run and immediately asked if the hood added 30 horse lol.

The "car club" is an absolute joke, I don't belong to it lol. Respect for anything without a V8 in the club is few and far between.

Nah after the race he informed me he'll be doing a pulley swap in spring and the gtp shouldn't be a problem. LOL.

Nah, it'll just help 3rd because he'd stand a better chance if he just dumped the clutch at 20 and didn't shift it.

What is crazy, even though the GP smoked that stang the Car Club and owner of the stang will still talk sh1t. Then once they get one of their stangs to beat that GP they will talk even more sh1t and forget about the smoking that one car got. IMHO.

There's about 40 people in the club and the cobra has beat all the other cars except one(his dads gt500). And to be quite honest I could care less if I lose to a gt500 in my grandma sedan lol.

If a stock 03 Cobra has beat all the other cars in that "club"...that clubs sucks. Assuming he is stock, depending on the pulley combo, tune, and supporting mods, he could give you a decent race in the spring.

I realize nothing gets you GP guys more wet than a GP killing a mustang, but come on...ever hang around with the Fbody crowd?

Yeah, F Bodies beat Mustangs too. And sometimes we beat F Bodies. And what?

If you could show me the direction you are going with this argument, I will gladly participate.

I wasn't going anywhere. I was trying to figure out where you were going. I think any w-body would be happy after killing any cool car like a Mustang or an F-body.

Either platform has become affordable enough that defecation spewing idiots can buy them, drive them poorly, and give the entire scene a laughable appearance. I'm banking on appearing as a laughable noob.
I may say rude things but learn to take a joke. The internet is funny when you can laugh.
