Im driving along a popular place to race in my city, when i see an Audi A4 (later found out it was a 1.8T) come up behind with its fogs on. As it gets closer i see its 2 kids and they're riding my A**. Im doing 60km/h and put it into 2nd (really doggish range). I go through the traffic circle and they get on it (and get a huge jump on me) and try to go around me, I stand on it and we're even until about 90km/h and i start pulling, HARD. We did this exact same pull 4 times on about a 4km stretch of road, until they gave up. They get up beside me at the next set of lights and neither of them would even look at me

The next night, im with my woman and i see this kid racing around in his corolla XRS all the time and all he has is an HID kit. So its late at night, im driving my woman home when i see him in front of me at the traffic lights a couple cars up. We're turning onto a 2 lane road so as soon i get around the corner i get on it and begin catching up to him. He must see me coming and he instantly gets on it too, but we have to slow down for a stop sign. Now, he waits for me at the stop sign to get up beside him. He sees its me and we both roll into slowly, we're half way across the intersection and both punch it at the same time at about a 30km/h roll. I instantly pull a length on him and by the time i was at the top of 1st gear i was already 3 cars in front of him and had to let off. (did he not know how to drive or are those cars that slow? )

Last night im out with my woman in my car and im pulling out of the restaurant parking lot and i see this car coming along with HIDs and yellow fog lights. I pull up to the red light and he pulls up next to me. Its a middle aged guy in a Lexus IS300. I thought he was gonna go and the ground was a little damp, so i leave the light a little bit quick and spin the tires a bit (obviously), and he doesn't go so i figured he doesn't want to go. I see him come flying up beside me, and sits at my back bumper (we're on a 3 lane rd.). We stay like that for a few seconds and we both stand on it and it was just an embarassment, i instantly just hauled ass away from him like nothing.

This is the latest, I know a guy that lives near me and he has an '07 Cobalt ss s/c. Last week, when i first got my car, he didn't really think much of it and we had a few quick pulls from 60km/h and he pulled away pretty quick. 60km/h ****tiest ever range EVER for these cars and he's in his peak range. (60km/h for him is about 4,000rpm in second gear and im in the very bottom of second). So he was telling people that he smoked me, when really we raced from a dig twice and i just embarrassed him. So today, i see im and he pulls into the parking lot where i am and i show him my gutted airbox/ fenderwell intake setup. He asks me when we're gonna have another race. He has since installed a cold air intake on his car and he also has a GMPP exhaust. So im like "lets go right now." We're pull out of the parking lot and we're doing like a 40km/h roll side by side (im in first, he's in second). We sit there for a few second and i jump on him, so i pull about a length on him. We stayed like that until 130km/h when he slowly caught me and slowly pulled away.

    I love my new car

The thing with those cars is they are really hard to launch, especially with a stick shift and its usually inexperienced drivers racing them that have never had that much power to put to the ground. At the track i have seen many of them run. The fastest one ive seen run is 14.8 with just an intake and the slowest i've seen one run is 15.9 with the same intake lol. Huge difference and it's all driver. Most guys at the track i go to run low 15s pretty much stock..

well they sell a HUD kit, and since my tranny has failed Twice on me in the past 40k miles, Next tranny will probably be aftermarket and that would be the time to change the rear end...I don't owe that much on my car now and to do a trade-in i'd be kicking myself in the @$$ several times...but i do have to say I LOVE my digital air controller , 60-90*...not sure if ur model has the 5-button DIC...also if i'm not mistaken comp G has Stabili-trak?????
