Going down 61 about 75 (speed limit is 65) and some ego pumped short guy in a early 2000s Mitzi Eclipse rolls up next to me after I did the old weaveroo around him about a half mile back. He gives me a dirty look and his 4 foot woman of the orient looks over as well. There's a car in front of me by about four car lengths (it's a three lane highway and I'm in the middle lane). To the left is him and a straightaway for as far as I could see, to my right was room enough between the Acura in front of me and a semi. So he begins to pull away burning rice through a four inch fart can, and I cut out behind the semi, I cut around the Acura and we are side by side, get up to about 90-95 and start leaving him behind. I'm coming up on an overpass (70th for any of you minnesota guys) and it goes back to two lanes, I'm ahead by one or two lengths and I merge I front of him and I'm side by side with a newer tahoeor burn, didnt look, and the Eclipse is behind us. He is riding my a** so I pull up to 105 and start pulling away. I decided it was over when I was five lengths ahead of him so I slowed down. He did the ricer flyby, and moments later a state trooper whirls up and pulls him over. My cars bone stock too lol. I found humor in this whole situation.

    Was it a 2g

    Or a 3G

If it was a 2G most likely a GS cuz it would be easy to put a few links on those.
If it was a 3G must have been a RS or GS, I don't think a stock 3800 can pull that much on a Eclipse GT as they have the same power.

Sounds like alot of weaving and cutting people off to prove what exactly? Eclipses are poop unless boosted. End of story. When I still had my toasted tranny in I raced a 2g gt from a 40 roll in 2nd gear and pulled 2 lengths on him to 100 and everyone knows how bad the bog is in 2nd at 40mph in our cars on stock tuning

the eclipse was debadged but im guessing it wasnt a gt, but i have pulled two lengths ahead of my friends gt in a mock up 1/4 mile run on a dirt road in Hugo MN. This has been my favorite kill though, the dude got hammered by that cop because when he was passing me he was going atleast 90 and here even that can get you Reckless Endangerment.

I'd rather risk getting busted on ASPHALT.

Than racing on an unpaved surface.

    But, that's cool.

Doesn't matter, the racing on a crowded interstate/highway just as dumb IMO.
