This past friday I went to Orlando Speed World Dragway fo their test and tune night. Weather was good with it being cool but not cold. Ive been waiting on a deal for some descent tires but have not found any yet so im still on my crappy 215/55-18s. I did get a pretty good launch but I know there is room for improvement. All in all I am very happy with the run. 13.89 at 100. Now I just need some drag radials and get some better 60's.

Mods include 3.6, sd headers, slp catback (already on the car when I bought it), canned tune, zzp rockers, and a few other little things.

Always lots of fun going out on a friday night and picking on some poor mustangs. lol

2.07 60 isn't that bad at all for street tires.

Putting some stock wheels with some sticky tires would help quite a bit, especially because of weight.

    I ran 13.83 @ 100~ with a 3.5" and 1.84 rockers and a downpipe...so with a better launch I don't see why you can't sneak a mid 13 out of it, especially with a drop to maybe a 3.4"

This was mine on huge slicks. You did well overall on street tires.

    It's a 3.6" with headers and rockers...

That's just driven correctly...it's about spot on.

nice man! and Bill what are your mods? I would think you would be pretty heavily modded with all the work you do and your knowledge on these cars. Going from your write ups and all.

That was when I first started modding my 97 B'ville.
    Built trans 3.29's
The biggest slicks imagineable (never dropped them under 25psi as I only make a couple passes and planned on being there all night)
    Gen V
    3.4" pulley
    S1X cam
    N* TB
    SLP headers catted

That's all I had at the time.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
