    was cruising along town, takin the long way home when I see a New style black mustang come flying up in the slow lane, but that lanes is about to end(reason why i was in the fast lane) so he cuts off the SUV behind me and is riding me good, so i speed up to 65km/h so im not slowing the line up down too much, he just rides me the whole time but being by a school zone i keep my speed. Notice guy in his 40's with a THICK mustache lols.
    we get by the school zone and come to amajor intersection and i go in the left hand turning lane and he does also, I think this should be fun since i just got my tune and all, we get the advance left and soo as i get straight he is already swinging into the slow lane tire squeeling! tryin to sling shot around me, i floor it and quickly shifts into first and it was on! he was at my driver door and pulling when i got into first and i started to pull back! and pull! and pull, we were at 130km/h when i shut down I pulled roughly i full car on him and I was just
    I get home and get on the net thinking no way i beat a 3.7l v6 stang, and found out i didnt, the 2010 new style came with the 4.0l, 3.7 came out 2011, even if it was only the 4.0 im still very happy with my car and how it performed

    4.0 is 210hp, runs low 15's at the track. not a bad run for your mods. bet he never thought he'd get pulled on by an impala lol
    99 GT - top swapped, S2X cam. - sadly, sold
    96 Firebird Formula - T-tops and exhaust leak. 14.26 @ 97.8 - sold

    Well youre on another level taz lol.Cammed and blower and all.Good kill OP keep rackin in those mods
    04 GTP-3.6 pulley, custom tuned, Intake, headers,thrush exhaust, al104 plugs, 180* stat, shift kit, flipped mounts

    Thx,I think i was just as surprised as him when it was all over lol, i was waiting to get walked by the new 3.7l motor.

    Trying to catchup to your mod list actually lols. if this tranny goes(no signs yet knock on wood) im gettin a T.E.P Trans with 3:69 gear ratio since im intown driving, that should give me a good boost over my 3:05 gears.

    3.69's are tough not to smoke the tires off. Especially if you have some power under the hood.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    im teetering on just staying n/a or going turbo, if i go turbo i think ill just get the car taking away from me for doing something dumb(like this race lol).
    3:69's on a n/a platform would be a good setup right? considering most n/a mods only help topend wise.

    I blew the doors off of a 96-98 Mustang GT last week on my way home, he kept riding my ass until he got next to me, he gunned it first so I gunned it, and just cruised right on past him. The look on his face was priceless!

    they also pull a flat 15.0 and have 290 torque, you n/a or boosted? what mods? and please never use that gif image again its VERY annoying lol

    haha yeah, it's a blower cam. i was only half serious, it's in a car that's half done... and has been half done for 6 months. at this point, if somebody shows up with money, they can have what they want

    I'm so sick of the 96-98' mustang owners that think their mod motor is something special. I've seen minivans pull away from those year turds. Without a top swap or a power adder they are slower than the 05-10' 4.0 base model stang's.

    Top swap? You talking about a PI swap? I think you're blending the lingo. My 96 GT has never had a problem with minivans....or GP's.
