I just relay what I was told... Didn't inspect the car myself. Regardless I put a few football fields on a 330whp Mustang and that makes me feel pretty good.
Nick did you need to do anything else for E85 besides put it in your tank and tune it? Did you keep the injectors you had when you were at the dyno?
Yeah same injectors... they're the 65s and I've got a racetronix pump. Enough to handle e85. Basically I just filled it up, adjusted the IFR and juiced up the timing lol.
Far from optimized so I'm excited for the chance to really nail the tune down. Unfortunately I'm back on 93 for the time being so it has me a little depressed
When a regal beats anything the owner should feel good, trollolol.
Same time post ftw. Lol did you have blue/other nicks timing of 36 degrees?
It was so cold out the other night I was seeing about 16psi peak... on the e85 I was able to turn the timing up to 22ish and there wasn't any knock. On pump I wasn't able to run more than 16 or 17 degrees on a bigger pulley and 13-14psi lol
The cutout is going in soon too... should be fun
Sweet. That should be insane with the setup that you have.
I really hope to make 400whp... I'm confident that's a realistic goal.
What does your grandpa think of his old car now?
It might happen. you were, what 350whp before E85? A cutout, pulley drop and tune might give that to you. Sh*T will get real if it does. People will think you're a better sandbagger then a katrina victim lawlz.
He's pretty impressed to say the least.
Yeah 350whp before the E85, it wasn't even tuned AND it was through a stock catback, lol. I'm not an expert on this and may be using a little bit of ricer math but I gotta figure that a cutout, pulley drop and tune on top of the e85 has to get me somewhere close to 400whp.
I had a stock Regal GS that was a factory freak all i did was add a 2 1/2" exhaust from the cat back and tune it i would eat up mustangs g35's TL type S it was a fun ass car way faster then my junk GTP wish i had another regal!!!
IIRC Ed's car "Blowzilla" had an Autorotor/KB blower on it which would be a twin screw.

Also take a look at Tim King's car and the mods along with his track time and dyno sheet.
