i gotta l36 grand prix, nothing but CAI and brand new exaust, but not the point. raced my buddy severralll times in his neon. he passed me one night and i let him fully pass me and merge over and i laid on it while he was "pulling away" and catching up and passing him and leaving him before my fuel cutoff was no issue. from dead stops to the fuel cutoffs i lost him completely and had to wait for him for a min at our destinationlol neons are junk.
another buddy had a modded srt4 and i had my 91 bonne le with se package (not se, custom ordered car) 3800 series one, he thought he could beat me pullin 2nd gear, i told him goodluck, lets go. smoked him til 70 then we quit, im talkin 2 car lengths.
no vids. call whatever say whatever
point is late model dodges in my opinion are junk

I have a 94 Bonnie SSEi (m62 supercharged Series 1 pos) Its not even comparable to a stock SRT-4 much less modded and its got alot more power than your NA 3.8L. My GTP might hang with a stock SRT-4, but not a modded one.

I got ahold of a SRT4 once... in my Miata... I almost stayed with em, 1-2 was fine, his 3rd gear pull was brutal, stoopid turbos... I beat him once when he missed the 3rd gear shift... I was happy, Miata was stock with the 6spd tranny, slow but fun to drive.
Now a base Neon is poop, My buddy out ran one at a track on his quad, older Banshee... he went 1/8 and coasted to the 1/4 and still won. Neon ran like a 17.6 1/4 time lol, I think he angled the wing wrong tho and that really hurt em

Haha smart idea to hide the SRT4 like that, it was the fastest car under $20k.
I went to the drag strip once and these guys showed up in old beat up 70s Chevy truck. One pulled up to race a Vette, he had bags and lowered the truck. i was like okay cool. they line up at the tree, it goes green, he hits it and holy crap it was loud, he whipped the vette bad.
he ended up having a twin turbo 454 in that truck, fastest thing there, til someone brought out their Nitrous racecar.
