i dunno to far ahead to tell lol but most likely
the shelby with the supercharged 5.4L @ 450+ hp and 450+ tq?????![]()
wow thats a slap for FORD haha
The modular motors are great if you have boost. N/A they are kind of slow out of the hole and the 4.6 tends to run out of steam on top compared to the lsx motors. I have never been in a s/c 5.4 but I think it would do a much better job off the line and up top.
Once you start modding its only a matter of who spends more money but stock for stock there are VERY few cars that can match the terminator. 12 second car for under 35k with a warranty.
Another something I read about a while ago...found a picture. I'll tell ya what i can remember from the my magizene. Dual fuel injectors per cylinder. 7.0L. And best of all....pushrod engine...making over 700 hp N/A.It's one of fords experimental engines.Havent heard anything on it recently but if they were to make a hit out of it it was possibly going to start showing up in the fullsize trucks and mustangs. They put it in a sn-97 mustang...2006 i belive and it went real low 9's on E85.Just thought i'd share

i HATE FORD but that is pretty neat
the modular money is junk, yeah the vette goes 12's at 125mph. the C6 traps incredibly high. who cares about my FWD gp and how fast it goes, i dont did i say i can beat a cobra? the LS motor is the greatest thing GM didnt F*&K up yet. when ford made the modular motor GM debated going the DOHC route. look who won that battle. watch on horsepower tv when they install new cams and timing chain on a mod motor, look at the LS you can change the cam without removing the lifters or intake manifold. 5hrs to degree 4 cams, or less than an afternoon for the chevy. best bang for the buck? no way LS motor is a lot less money than to mod a modular.

the zo6 traps 125 not the base model c6's. and why swap out cams when you can swap out pullies???? both motors have there strong points but to say the modular motor is crap is just nieve. the modular motors can handle more power than the ls's also with out being built.
dude look at the lsx block. are you kidding me? when did i throw my car in there? its front wheel drive garbage. you know jack about the LS motor. how the FK is it cheaper to build a mod motor? what drop a pulley? please guy stock LS block isnt strong? they rev to 7000rpm! 6 bolt mains, the F&^K do you know? wheres ford, wait the roush revs to 5500rpm.
i dident say it was cheaper to build... just cause it has 6 bolts in it dont mean its in breakable. im talking when they are moded out. the ls1 blocks will start throw bottom ends out at 550+ hp while the modular motors can go to 650 plus on the bottom ends. and just because they rev high dont mean there strong either. and by the way the 03 cobra will rev to 7000 but why when you got great mid range from an eaton. a civic will rev to 9000. so its stronger than all???
and your car was brought into it because you talk like 12's are slow like your call will wax them. but i guess were just magizine racing..
