a 10 second one??
Who cares about gas at that point
HaHa
But yes that is why I was saying it is unfortunate that gas is driving people do buy the "lower" versions of cars.
$4.00+ Sucks!!
I wish the tree hugger's would let us dig for oil in the U.S.
Gas would be 50% less.

even back in the day in the 60's when gas was cheap people would still by the V6 ones. like i said not everybody buys a car for its motor. some people just want it for its styling. yes now a days gas does have a big effect on it but thats not soley the reason...yess people quit being tree hugers so i can afford to drive around in boost![]()
well i dont agree it would help 50% of the price but there is other ways to get around it if we have the ability to get into a war how bout we go into one of the biggest continents with untapped oil which is africa and go help out a failing government there and have it in for oil without the downfall of a possible of a threat to hurting ANWAR
ANWAR is a oil reserve!
It was set aside for us to dig for oil... Thats what it is there for...
The environment will be no more polluted digging there..
We have the technology now to actually dig for oil without any pollution.
And If you really are concerned about damaging ANWAR, the Russians and other countries are digging less than 100mi from there already so in all honesty what are we protecting.. The same goes for the coast of Florida the US cant did >150mi from the coast but Cuba is digging 50mi from our coast...
Again Why are we afraid to "damage" territories? I feel a hell of a lot more comfortable knowing that the US is drilling there than some other country that could give a **** less about the environment.
As for war with Africa...
I highly doubt that would work..
You can not just go to war with a country because they have oil.
We have been fighting a cold war with them for years and it has not resolved anything. What should we do sit around and wait more so the price of oil goes up even more?
It does not work like that.
Plus if we go to war with Africa we go to War with China.
AS a matter of fact if I am not mistaken I think Chevron digs in Africa already (don't quote me on that)
And yes it is proven that gas prices would drop to >$2.50/gal. if we used our oil supply.
Research it if you don't believe me..

who said a war with africa ? i was simply suggesting stabilizing a country that is rebuilding i.e Liberia providing maybe some supplies ... man support and such
we could also get in a little closer with south africa and increase the oil production
and believe me i did high school debate about these kinds of things they were just as many articles saying one thing as there were saying the other way
China is drilling in Africa but we could do the same we have very little oil reserved compared to Africa so why not save ours until we absolutely need it i was never saying we should protect ANWAR but my thought was to wait and use other sources first
but if you dont like that idea we could tighten up with south america to

It's just a matter of personal opinion.
I thought you were saying to protect ANWAR and war with Africa."without the downfall of a possible of a threat to hurting ANWAR"
"if we have the ability to get into a war how bout we go into one of the biggest continents with untapped oil which is africa"
I guess I just read that wrong.
My bad.
Along the line of what you are thinking though, we have already tried those things. We have been talking/negotiating thing with Africa for over 15 years and nothing has yet to change. Also South America is not budging either and why would either one of them? They know how valuable they are to the rest of the world. They are not just going to change there whole way of life because the US is willing to "aid/help" them. I think you are simplifying the fact that we can just go over and ask them for help and they will say ok. Like I said we have been doing that for years and things have yet to change..
I think we have depleted our options and this is the strongest option we have as far as lowering gas prices for now. There is no reason that we can't do both.
How about a median, dig for oil in the US until we can figure out a way to come to compromise with foreign affairs..
well i would have to say the only negotiating we have done in Africa is try to go help in Rwanda and f'ing it up cause we were to late the U.S. government tends to stay as far away as it can from Africa because of a nervousness but im not all against drilling in ANWAR but i just think we could continue and increase production in other areas like the south Atlantic gulf region we could increase but there is the threat of hurricanes and such just like any other drilling spot
America has been in a cold war (about oil) with Africa since Clinton..
It's one of those thing the government tries to keep to itself ..
And I agree with the more riskier off shore drilling as well.
Everyone knows when you have a silver line down your car it adds 30 horsepower.haha
I agree with that one guy. IMO they shouldn't make a V6 muscle car. If you want a Mustang/Camaro, you gotta fork over the dough. You gotta pay to look this good.haha All my cars are V8's with the exception of the GP, and they all have to have 91 octane. So much for my "cheap" family car. haha I'm gonna drive 'em all till I can't afford gas period. I don't drive any less because if it. But, I will never sell my cars. I will also never buy a car because it does good on gas. (I'm all about looks and they are ugly) I'll just make my mom drive me around.haha
Back to the original post, It's almost never a waste to put someone in the place. If they really think they are fast and they aren't, who better to let them know.? Us! V6 or not, most people(averege joe) don't think og a GP as being fast at all. So, when they get burned by one, it makes them feel that much slower. haha In My Opinion

ohh racing stripes. i see. it adds down forcehe was problew a quart low on torque fluid tho. and extra court and he might have gave you a good run

again tho. not everyone buys "muscle" cars for there performance. some just want the styling and could careless how fast it is.
U want style, you should have to pay for it. Don't get me wrong, I don't have money. I had to wait and want for a long time before I ever got anything nice. I have a few nice cars, my house is paid for, but its not the greatest.
It's just my opinion. I don't want to make anyone mad.
yea but if they dident have all the sells of there v6's the whole car in general might not be able to be funded and make it to the marked. i understand what your saying but not everyone is a car guy like us and just because there not your gonna make them suffer by having to pay more for it??? plus they make a **** load of money of the v6's...why not
Basically a marketing technique to allow those of us that have a passion for cars to get what we want at a better price.
But on the other hand I wish it was exclusively a muscle car..
Leave the sells to the other vehicles the manufacture makes.
Thats just my opinion,I understand where you are coming from blow.
It's smart to do it that way.
pretty much. if all they sold was V8's they might not sell enough and we might not even have the car at all. the V6 have there point. plus if you dont want the 6. then dont buy the 6. its pretty simple..
