im sure alot of cars that are twin turbo'd putting down 1,000hp will break lose at 150 mph. with the right suspension set up and tire combo some of that could be avoided. but your still driving a 1,000hp car...what do you expect

Supra's
ha problew tho. im sure it would hurt quite bad. i spun out at 60 or so and went into a ditch. slowed down a little from the ditch then hit an imbankment and fliped my car three times. hurt like hell. was problew only doing about 45 when i hit it. 150 would be insaine!!!
im sorry i didnt want to laugh but i did, i remember about a year and a half ago i let my friend drive my car which was a tiburon, and he was beating a 305 camaro going around a turn and slammed on the brakes and flew into a ditch, that sucked so i know a lil about how you feel
since were on the mustang slaughter thread.. thought id share.. me and my buddy with his Evo 8 with AMS turbo kit, were lookin for races when we found a brand new mustang SALEEN, in the mall parking garage This kid had his g/f in the car, and windows down, so he gets next to us at around 50, gets the jump, and then my buddy gives him open waste gate, the girl holds here earsand we lated on him on this 2 lane road merging onto the highway. After that he didnt want anymore, no matter how hard we tried
Newer mustangs FTL!!!
you obviously dident see that new saleen slam second on me at the track, about goes sideways then pulls like an effin freight train to let off and still run 12's...he also had an eaton tho
the new gt's are pretty sweet cause now there 3 valves instead of two. the new cobras are dogs with the stock tune but with intake exhaust and tune they can dyno in the mid 500 range, cabable of low 11's at almost 130mph. i see nothing but improvements :P
It just seems to me that all Ford does is take a heavy vehicle and put a supercharger on it. To make it fast enough to "keep up" with the N/A vehicles in it's class. I am not saying thats necessarily a bad thing, just the trend that Ford has seemed to take.
gt500 have not impressed me at all.
intake exhaust and tune putting you in the low 11's are not impressive?? and you do have a point about the supercharger...but then again they already put it on there factory for you, one less thing you have to do later down the road. look at the moding potential. its quite easy then. 03 cobra vs 02 SS. intake exhaust and pulley for the cobra puts its easily into the 11's for about 1200 bucks. can you do that as easily with a camaro and for as cheap....NO. you have a point but you have to look at it from both sides. if you plan on moding your car its a great start. what would have been easier to mod for me. the N/A grand prix or the supercharged grand prix??? plus ford uses smaller motors anyways...
Mustang always did outsell camaro and t/a put together. But that kinda put one one every corner. Which sucks to see ur same car over and over. Cubes for Cubes i would say both are similar giving ford the edge. Except unfortunately for ford they stuck to the 4.6 and we had 5.7. They both were priced almost the same at around 21k for base gt and base z28. Z28 0-60 5.2 1/4 13.8. GT 0-60 5.5 1/4 14.2. Now how about SS vs SVT? Dyno 01 SS at 268hp 280tq 0-60 5.19 1/4 13.49. 01 SVT 240hp 257tq 0-60 5.38 1/4 13.79. Even Stock my TA would beat a SVT. I think they are both American muscle icons, both have good looks and make lots of power. I just got the one thats faster and has more potential. But the mustang will always sound way better than any ls1, it has a growl that scares ricers! I do love the mach 1 and bullit. But hey were all on the same team!
94-98 GTs had 215hp. They are dogs. Trust me I owned a 95 GT.
