I know a guy with a tt v6 mustang that run low 11's. I know of a couple 12 sec sunfires and cavaliers (hahn). Hell, I used to have a low 13 sec 420a turbo eclipse. You know how often you see a fairly quick 420a eclipse, hardly ever. And the odds are the same with just about evey civic or crx comparably. It's not so much that we under estimate them, as much as we just know what to expect. And anybody that knows jack about cars, knows that when you see a civic/crx roll up on you it's not exactly a 50-50 shot that it's going to a quick car.

IMO hondas are some of the most mod-able cars out there. Which is a big reason why I don't understand most honda guys. How they can spend 2k on a bunch of useless bolt on's, a body kit, and some rims, instead of a k or b series swap eludes me. Engine swaps are retarded easy, and the aftermarket is huge to say the least. There are just too many jdm wannabe's out there, that it's hard for the good one's to stick out. No disrespect to you moboost, most of us here know that what you have isn't your average hatch. I've seen first hand what a k20 hatch can do. You should just represent your car though, not somebody else's 7 sec hatch, and certainly not the civic nation. Yes, a civic can be a beast, but so can a cavalier, when is the last time you heard someone say, "don't under estimate a cavalier"? So let people assume the next loud ass civic rolling up on them isn't worth waisting gas on. And if we get walked, I'll be the first to throw a big thumbs up and give much respect for doing something that MOST can't or won't do. And that's turning a civic into something thats worth taking down the track.

Besides, being the underdog is so much more fun then the other way around. Hater's gonna hate, don't worry bout them, just play the game.
