so last night was my first time ever to a drag strip and it was in Milan Michigan. it was a lot different then just a normal street race...wheni got this car i jacked the signature so ignore that.....my goal was a 13.5 and i got 4 passes in also i am on ****ty street tires...

i have a few videos you guys can laugh at i was dissapointed i did not get my goal like i said though it was first time ever to a track so i guess you could say i was a little nervous. 1st video i just stabbed it for some reason crowd loved it burnout show lol......the guy who tunes my car told me i need work on my launches and need to aim for a 1.8 60 ft time and i should be 13.1s all day...also if we slicked it should be running 12.7s i am going to buy me some drag radials next weekend....let me no what you guys think....how was your first time ever there?

    Sweet 100 foot burnout, lol

Great video's, i thinks slicks will help you out a ton.

That regal that you were up against, do you know whats done to that? It looks bad fast.

Definetely work on your launch. I've cut a 2.065 on bald street tires so there's alot of improvement to be had. Get that sixty down and you should have your 13.5 on street tires

Keep up the good work man. At least you have the time to get to the track. What are you launching at?

Honestly I get pretty good results from idle. You just gotta feel it. My cars pretty easy to feel when it's right at the edge of spinning the tires so I can keep it right below that point.

Now that I'm used to the stall in it I launch at around 2500 so I't quicker to get to that point I previously mentioned.

so i'm a little confused. did you buy the car from someone who previously used that sig?

edit: nevermind i read the OP in its entirety.

better tires and launch and you'll easily be in 12s.
