I got my first line up, kill last night. Guy at works been talking junk about his G6 and how it could beat me so we went out and settled it. I hit second gear and was ahead by one length, and crossed the line at 75 in second gear, winning by about 2.5 wahoo. I've had kills at the stop light, but my first true, line up and go kill was great.

i'm all stock, with a cone air filter. And idk, i just know it was a G6

I've got two other races. Any Predictions?
-07 Impala LT ( guy wants to put down 40, me 20 and the G6 guy 20. Says it barely beat the G6)
    -07 Grand Prix GT stock.

Depends if that GT is really supercharged or not. after 04 they started to mark GTP with the GT badge for whatever reason. So you can't really know what it has until you race it.

    What?
manually shifting an automatic transmission isn't a good thing to do. so if you're going from a roll, just anticipate the lag time from the downshift and floor it a split second earlier. if you're going from a dig, it'll start in first anyway and it'll shift more accurately than you can unless you're a damn good driver

I've actually got the shift lag down when shifting manually so it actually shifts at the right time, but I usually leave it in drive anyway

I put my CompG into manual and select the gear i want. Once I floor it I shift into full auto and let it do it's thing.
