    humm. that is pretty intresting. and that is about right. i did not quite understand tho. why is there 2 diff speed limitors?? the gears are right on tho. i thought they were 3.29s so if not what are they??

    Because of the drive-by-wire system there are the equivalent of 2 throttle position sensors. A safety feature, incase one of the sensors fail. The PCM looks at both sensors and if they arent reading within a certain tolerance of each other, then action is taken to prevent a possibily dangerous situation.

    Yes the Comp G (GTP) has 3.29 and the standard GTP 2.93. This is why I said the WOT shift MPH would likely be lower on the Comp G. At the same MPH in the same gear the Comp would be at a higher RPM (200) than it's brother.

    and my car is the gtp. i thought all comp g's were gtp's?? sorry i dont know that much about the comp g's.
