So my GTP is down for the time being (leaky front main seal) so I've been rolling around in my dad's 1995 Chevrolet Caprice wagon. Yes its has the 5.7L in it, and I put on a 9" K&N cone on it (makes it fun to drive.) My girlfriend and I were driving down Hwy 19 in Palatka, FL, (if you know of this town, im sorry for your loss XD) and we saw this lime green POS behind us. I pulled into the inside lane so he could get up next to me, and to my delight, the light turned red infront of us. When we both stopped his window was down, and I could see one of those huge ass Tach.'s with the shift light on it, attached to the A-Pillar and everything was painted green to match.....sadly.

I revved the car, and the whole wagon shook from side to side. He looked over and his car made this terrible fart noise.

The light turned green, and we went...well I went....he kinda just...moved slowly with a loud ass fart.

At about 40mph I let off (speed limits 45) and I got to see the utter shameful Flyby....

as he went past, he hit his brakes, and rolled his window up.

I chased him do to the Wal-Mart parking lot, and when I asked him what motor he had in it, he got back in his car and took off..XD

Thought it was funny a 15year old heavy wagon would whoop a Civics ass.

Then again 350cubic inches = fun

Noticed in your Sig. that you're running 1.9's, Im planning on putting on 1.9's or even 1.95's with 105# springs and LS1 retainers. Which rockers did you put on yours, and did you do any other supporting mods (springs, retainers, etc.?)

Gotcha that's what I was thinking of doing, instead of the YT 1.95's with springs....

Notice any difference in power, and is so, is it mostly top end??

Yea mostly top end is where they shine, especially on the highway

How much boost you see on your 3.4? I see 8 tops.

After the Port and polish im seeing about 7 or so, hopping to see a little boost with the 1.9's.

Nice kill with a station wagon. My Father had a 95 impala police package, it was a blast to drive and it was amazing how such a big heavy thing could accelerate to 60 in about a sub 7 seconds, then keep accelerating to top speed without any hesitation. It died a horrible death from car cancer, nearly rotted in half.

The LT1 is those made 260 horse. That's pretty damn decent for a stock granny mobile. I've ridden in one with the police package that was pretty quick. If you think a 350 is fun, go for a ride in a big block car sometime. I had a buddy in high school with a 455 in a cutlass. It's been a few years now, but I remember it dynoed at almost 600 lb/ft of torque.
