curb weight is low yes, but add the person and all the crap most people put in their cars... goes up quite a bit for the average joe and makes a huge difference

thats why most people do motor swaps and add turbos... they have to make alot more power to catch up to us... race from a dig and spank his A$$
That car at the most weighs 2600lbs. Not anything more, no ****ing way it's close to the 3s sorry, and a GXP would also get waxed by this car. GXPs do what in the quarter stock low 14's this is at least a mid 13 sec car. No chance.

There is no replacement for displacement........unless you have a supercharger or turbo

2000 Bright Red GTP Coupe GXP axle back, GMPP sway bar, NGK TR6, 180 stat. (Uninstalled Aeroforce Interceptor, DHP PCM, FWI, Gen V on the way) and still no pulley in sight.

HA not that light... not on the older models... the new ones are small and light yes prolly 2600 curb... but thats with nothing in it. My friends was a late 90s early 2000s SI with a full show sound system and trust it was heavier than 2600lbs

My 01 miata is ALOT smaller than a civic... and weight 2640 dry... the NEW new SIs are about that size.. the older ones are bigger, bulkier, and still cast iron blocks not all aluminum... pushing 2800-2900 and with a system and the driver... push 3200

NO the older models are lighter. Actually about every 5 years they get heavier and bigger. An 85 CRX weighs about 1900 lbs. I have a 1991 Honda CRX full interior with me in the car weighs 2100. My friends ek hatchback (96-00) weighs in at around 2300. An eg coupe is at around 2400lbs. They cars all vary in weight, but none older than 00 are guranteed to be around the 3's sorry, and all the blocks d, b, k, and h series are all aluminum blocks. I would assume and ek coupe (2000 Civic SI) with a k swap would be around 2500 lbs. By the way a miata maybe smaller than a civic, but a miata is a convertible and it reinforced with alot stuff to stiffen the chasis of the car. Either way this is getting away from the point of this race.
