Ok I just got my GTP and am planning on shutting up some people that had their cars handed to them by their daddy's and mommy's.

1st is the 9-3 4 cylinder turbo that used to beat my GT. That should be a easy win since he used to pull on my by just a car or two.

2nd is some loser rich kid who shows off with his BMW 745 that his parents gave him. I was wondering if it's possible to take his car. I've seen a couple videos online and they are pretty quick. What do you guys think?

I hate rich kids that have their cars handed to them, and then show off like it's the best car in the world when they didn't put any money into it. So i'd like to shut them up

I hate kids like that as well.

But if the kid can drive the 745, and you're stock.. he'll walk all over you.

The question is what year is the 745? If its one of the new fugly ones then you'd be murdered.

The newer 745's run low 14s...they wont destroy you, I beat one preety good awhile back in my eclipse gst fwd turbo, and I was on the tiny T25 turbo at 17psi with a couple other mods, I pulled 2cls on him. I ran a best of 14.0@99mph with that itty bitty stock turbo. They do have some sick ass top end, and being that your governed to 112mph with the stock PCM...well, you know the rest.

    From edmunds...

The BMW 750i and 750Li are powered by a 4.8-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque. The (revised) 2008 EPA estimates stand at a respectable 15 mpg city and 23 highway. The BMW 760Li offers a 6.0-liter V12 with an impressive 438 hp and 444 lb-ft; its fuel mileage rates 13/20 mpg. Both engines are paired with a quick-shifting six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
We've timed a 750i at 6.4 seconds for the 0-60-mph run, while a 760iL we tested was about a half-second quicker. BMW claims that sub-6-second times are possible with either drivetrain under optimal conditions.

50? The only way you'd get a 7 series new for 50 would be if you had a gun to the salesman's head.

Yea, I wouldn't complain either, I just wouldn't show off like I bought the car and just be humble about it. Whatever...

    I guess that's just me..

My friend is borrowing his uncles 745 while his s2000 is getting modded and he still has yet to get his rs4 back from the shop...this is a kid that would piss you off if you hate rich little kids...he also has an escalade for a practical vehicle...either way, he was out tonight driving around and I tried calling him up to see what it would be like against it but he didn't care to race, maybe another night while he still has the car...

I'm basing off 6th and 7th gen GP's. Also 97-98 have a lower Governor on the SE/GT than the later years for unknown reasons to me. For instance my 2000 SE's fuel cut at 115. Comp-G's are something like 145.

Once again, it's just the stock tire rating that bases the governed speed.
