I swear no matter how much money I pour into this ****ing car it just won't run right. Everything's finally done then my MAF takes a **** out of no where so my car's been running like **** and the lean fuel is making it backfire like a mother****er on idle. AND I looked in my coolant today, I JUST flushed it and switch to the green stuff, and THERE'S STILL BLACK **** IN THE ****ING COOLANT, you've gotta be ****ing kidding me. And my alternator took a ****, bought a new one already but still, another thing to add to the ****ing list.

lol tell me about it, It took me 12 hours to get my pacesetter's on lol.

Welcome to the wonderful world of modding cars, nothing is easy, working on it takes you down the "trail of tears" then you get it working and another problem...

Sometimes I think about it as a evil red-headed/freckled little boy pushing around his little sister on a merry-go-round.

you still didn't get that new maf?

Yea...try watching your car sit for 2 years because you need to find the "right" intercooler after yours decided to start leaking through every weld in the core.

Seriously though, if you just changed your coolant be prepared to see that stuff for a while. When I changed my truck over it took them 5 coolant flushes...sucking out all the old crap and pumping in the new stuff...to get it to come out MOSTLY green. The Grand Prix was easier after the engine rebuild and radiator replacement. LOL

Never thought of it like that, but that's one way to put it
Nope, I bought it from someone last night, he was real quick about shipping though, got it out with a tracking number 1st thing in the morning. Good guy.

Oh, alright, thanks for telling me that, I thought I was gunna need a new radiator. I didn't use a machine, but after I drained it we let the hose flush it out for a bit.

Modding my car actually fixed it

My heads, LIM, UIM, injectors, and head gaskets were bad, all of which got replaced during the swap.

Yeah I just hate all the little issues that keep popping up out of nowhere, at least it's nothing big anymore. It's so weird that something as small as a sensor can throw my engine off so bad.

It never ends man. And yea, if you just flushed out the system with a hose it's going to take a while for the stuff to get out of the system...probably will be in there for as long as you have the car or until you decided to really flush through the system with a machine. Even if you flush the radiator good with a hose you still have a ton of that crap in your engine block that's going to start circulating back through once you start the water pumping through the system again.

Let me ask you though, did you use green stuff or yellow stuff? If you used green stuff GET IT OUT NOW! The green and what's left of the red don't play well together. The ONLY way you can use the green stuff is if you have gotten ALL of the old red Dexcool out of the entire coolant system. Instead use the yellow stuff. It's the stuff that says it will work with any coolant, red, green or yellow. Peak Global is an example of this type of coolant but I know Prestone and, I'm sure, the other major coolant companies make a version of it too.

Really? Yeah right now I'm running the 50/50 pre-dilluted green stuff.

Yep, get that out of there and replace it with 50/50 of the yellow. Green and Red shouldn't mix. You might even consider taking it to a shop and having them flush the system good just to make sure you get as much of that mixture out as possible. Make sure they have one of those machines that actually sucks the coolant out of the block. I can't remember what mixing the two does to the engine but I do know it's nothing good.

Hell, I still run yellow just to be on the safe side.

See...told you it never ends. Look at it this way, you'll be getting more of that gunk out of your system. LOL
