I just did my open cone intake, so i finally get a little supercharger whine. So im at my cousins house ( the mustang owner) and were both leaving so i give him a little rev, and he rolls the window down and says "my car sounds cooler idling than your little v6"(wtf). so i said whatever want to race. He says yea follow me.
I asked him what we were going to he said when he hits his limiter he'll slow down and ill know cause ill be behind him (whatever!)

From a dig i had him through first, through second he had me by his bumper but through third I pulled on him very slowly but surely. we did it three times and i got him all three times, by at least a length
When he hits his governor (115) I just blow him away to 125
I know that the 94, were definitely mustangs slower years but still I'm all stock except for my open cone intake now
    It was a great day.

He thinks he would beat me from a roll, what do you guys think?

Nice kill. It depends on how fast of a roll. You should be able to him on most. If you are stock how did you hit 125 with a gov at 107? Just wondering?

My bad I was thinking my Grand Am. I guess it has been a while since I've had a gov. Thanks for setting me straight.

Yeah 94 was the last year for the 5.0L it made a whopping 215hp.
    The series 1 3800 in 94 made 170hp.
Ford engines have always been behind the times.

Yeah, but they also put out 285 TQ.

They were somewhat decent off the line, but thats all.

And your comparing a 94 Gt to a 01 GTP?

The 2001 Mustang GT puts out 275/315

There's no even point for the 94 to try, unless the 94 had some mods, no chance.

I didn't think they had the 5.0 in that year..I thought it was the 4.6

My mistake, either way they were slow.

They should of ended the 5.0 in 93.
