I was curious to see what i would run the before i really got into all my mods. as of right now i have the basic msd wires iridium spark plugs n the coil packs. But to get on with my story, i had my first run n i was up agaisnt like a 92 BMW 320i with some mods not quite sure all of what couldnt have been much. but ended with a bad reaction time of .671 an ran the 1/4 in 14.987 sec @ 92 mph an beat the bmx by 2.2 sec.lol "he thought he would have me he said" but my second run was agaisnt a machin of a car 1987 malibu had like 365 to the rear wheels i knew i had no shot but i was just goin up there to get a better time, see if i could get a better launch, i was tending to launch her around 3 1/2 thousand rpms an i was gettin to 60 foot marker within 2.2 secs so i seemed to be gettin the grip i needed. so on the second run the malibu ended up runnin a 12.2 @ 109 mph yea, with that being said i ended with a 14.76 again @ 92 mph that run with a very good reaction time tho. alright well ended runnin 2 morer times an they were actually agaisnt my buddies one was the 09 rally art lancer an i really wanted to beat him cause i knew it was goin to be a good race cause he really didnt know how too launch his car but i won that one with my best time of the night 14.67 @ 93 mph with a impeccable reaction time of .02 sec. he was really upset after, comin up with all sorts of excuses. but overall i really just wanted to see what i was runnin before my upgrades i was lookin to do. ill def keep you posted on the upgrades, an the kill stories.

14.67 @ 93 for a bone stock car and not even tuned? Nice. So all you have is plugs, wires, and coils? Pretty good. Trap speed is a bit low you should get rid of that U-Bend and go back and see how much better it does breathing

Good deal on the U-Bend...not so great on the Northstar...you don't need a TB yet, you won't need a TB unless you have a cam/headers/intercooler...stuff like that.

TOG's are overpriced compared to Pacesetter's that do the same thing and save you money. IF we had the same cars and you went TOG's and I got Pacesetter's...I'd buy a PCM, T-Stat, plugs, DIY FWI...and pown

Just something to think about for the same amount of dough.

I'll take my TOGs over Pacesetters anyday. I have a set going on my buddy's car that's 5 years old and another set that is on my car that is 3.5 years old. I've heard people are happy with Pacesetters but there is a big difference in the quality of the two brands.

No. 3800 Performance has TOGs. IIRC they are the only ones distributing TOGs right now. I'll have to talk to Jonbob about that to be sure.

As for your PCM I would see if anyone near you has a Powertuner. They can put the DHP canned tune on your car in aobut 10 minutes without you having to take anything out of your car. Just be sure you have the basic mods for the DHP tune. I want to say that it is for a 3.4, intake, exhaust, U-bend, and headers...but not 100% certain as I haven't been able to use that basic of a tune in about 6 years.

For the money though...but I guess it is just a personal preference you know...apples to oranges

Yup, they are...last I checked they have been the only one to be selling them for awhile now...

I agree 1,000,000 times on the custom tune...if the person knows how to tune the L67 powerplant it will be a bat out of hell compared to a mail order tune...For the basic tune, it is a CAI, Exhaust (U-Bend and 3" Downpipe), 180*/160* T-Stat, and the 3.4" Pulley.
