You need to run a real small tire and watch what offset you pick.

Stock offset is +52. Going any lower than say +30-35ish and you have to roll the fenders, but lkely you want to do it anyway to not rub.

I always say 18's are easier to make fit right and less stress on the drivetrain.

five finger what im looking for is to close the gap between the tire and fender a 18" wheel sounds good I don't want to get into rubbing problems or put stress on the tranny
the look is what I want to achieve id rather go to the inside then the outside

Best way to fix wheel gap is to lower. 18s + low makes the car look good.

If you want to close gap you lower. You always want to keep stock rolling diameter, so going to a bigger wheel is not going to close the gap.
