Thread: what size would fill wheel well better than 225 55 17?

needing tires soon so im starting to do some research i have 04 gtp stock chrome wheels with stock 225 55 17. might get another year out of my rims before the chrome starts to look too bad..was thinking a little taller maybe to fill up the wheel wells more than the 225 55s? what you think about this?

thats what i was thinking...anything bigger might start to look "stuffed" in there..

I wouldn't go anything bigger on those 17's.

I have 235 55 17's on my Bonnie 17's, they rub in the rear. Just the inside corners of the rear tires barely rub the spring perch.

hmmmm..that good info to know. i looked around underneath i didnt see where a little bigger tire would rub? maybe the off set is a little different on my rims?
