Thread: tire size question

can I run 245/45/19 on 2004 comp g? tire size should be 245/40/19
will there be any problems rubbing or anything? I know its only 5mm but that might be the difference.
Tires front 235/35/19 rear 245/35/19. Gonna change to 245/40/19's.

It's more than 5mm, its 5% of 245mm.

Run the right size.

There's a guy that did that with a monte. He just had to take a BFH to the rear strut perch. I thought it looked really good

Run 40s 245/45/19 is pretty tall for GPs

There is a sticky, right above this post that tells you how to calculate tire sizes.

245/45/19 is about an inch too tall.
