    Does anybody have a pic of the twisted star factory rims? I want to paint my winter tires so my car looks better than it does with stock rims, I was thinking black with a silver lip, any suggestions?

    not sure if this is the twisted star you're talking about. but i used duplicolor graphite wheel paint. turned out pretty good.

    Black.gtp i'm gonna say you have just changed my mind i was gonna put a lip on my torquestars when i painted them but those look so nice all black that i'm probably gonna go all black. is that flat or gloss black you've got on those.

    For those of you that have painted yours, have you had any issues with chipping and/or the paint coming off over time?
    not sure yet, i've only had mine on for maybe a couple of months. so far they're holding up really well. i dont plan on getting it out much this winter so that should help.

    thanks black gtp, your rims look hot in black! Could you tell me what kind of paint you used and how many coats? Also did you remove the tire from the rim when you painted them

    If you look a few post up I stated that is not my car its one I have saved to Photoshop I wanted to see what they would look like on my car which is BLACK(Someone want to photoshop the car black for me lol) hence my screen name I am thinking of doing it but I won't paint I would have them powder coated

    yea the twisted stars are called "torquestars" i have them on mine

    I was about to say...I think the ones that are refereed to as "twisted stars" are called the Torque Stars as ^^ said. When they went to the Comp G in the new body style, they just changed the name to High Performance TQ's IIRC...
