I just installed a set of 18" evo-5's on my car, at low speeds i get a weird sensation from the front end of the car, I can't really explain it, its not a vibration, more of like a rumbling maybe?? Nothing audio just a feeling in the wheel.
now I havent gotten them balanced, nor have a gotten an alignment since I changed the outer tie rod ends and ball joints. I just started noticing this since I put the new rims on though. I am running hubcentric rings in the rims, and everything is torqued to spec.
Any ideas???
Tires are used BFgoodrich g-force T/A KDW's, no visible uneven wear or flat spots.
I went from 17" 225/50/17 to 18" 245/45/18.
I didnt have this problem when I had my 17" comp-g wheels, only after i switched to these. Would the bigger heavier wheel make it more apparent that I need an alignment??
