So, I'm all jacket up with a score on 17" Bullet rims and sticky tires to get the offset correct and use for autocross but somehow I missed that nugget of info about Bullets breaking off the studs because the pattern isn't exactly the same? Is this true? The last thing I want is to take a hard corner and have them break, thanks.

I believe pattern is 114.3 vs 115....totally fine. Only talking .7 of a mm

If your studs break its not because of the .7mm difference in bolt pattern.

    Umm, your full of ****.

Not only will Bullit Rims NOT break studs. There hub bore is only a couple nut hairs bigger than W-bodys. So you dont even need hub rings.

I don't know what you do to break studs, but that's not normal. The only studs I've ever broken is when I cross threaded them.

i dont see why you would want to use bullits as autocross wheels. theyre too damn heavy.

I didn't buy them particularly for Autocross but being 17" the sidewall is much less, these came with sticky Dunlops. I'd been looking for pre-gens for some time but came across these and like the way they fit. The weight of the wheels is the least of my concerns for being competitive at this point.

Read around the forum, do a search for "bolt pattern"... you'll find a ton of threads about the 114.3 bolt pattern.. and by a "ton" I mean if you printed out all of the theads that talked about the 114.3 bolt pattern having problems or not, the stack of paper could legitimately be 2,000 lbs.

    It doesnt cause problems.

I didn't think there were problems but then in one of the threads I reread someone mentioned studs breaking so I just got a little nervous. As usual this forum is a wealth of information.

Again, people breaking studs are not breaking them because of the .7mm difference. They found something they could blame it on and wrongly placed blame there.
