I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE and am thinking about getting some 17" or 18" rims. I am wondering how it looks with and without lowering the car. Any help is appreciated.

looks 4x4 at stock height, the worse the bigger the rim.

These cars definately need to lowered ,the come stock with far to much wheel to fender clearance I would suggest Intrax springs and Spring Tech struts these will bring her down about 2",unless you like the 4x4 look? But be prepared for a little harsher ride but better handling.

I recommend Eibach 1" lowering springs, and Koni adjustable struts. With this combo, I wouldn't go any higher than 19" rims w/35-40 series wraps, but that's just me.
