245/45/18 should work fine. if youre worried, get 235/45/18's.

I wouldnt put 235s on some 9" saleen wheels. (no BIO we dont drive subys) lol

even 245s really are not wide enough, but they work. 275/40 would be the perfect tire.

when a 225 wide tire is over 8" wide then i dont see an issue with less than an inch of stretch. i would put 215s on it if i was really trying to tuck.

I wouldn't run anything narrower than 245 on a 9" wheel. I have 245's on some 9" wide Villains and its just at the point of stretching.

It looks stupid on these cars BIO not lowerd and he's not trying to tuck. So there's no reason for 225s...

i run 275/40/18 on a 9" wheel, the fronts fit in just perfect and the rear fit flush but if you were lowered like me ud have to roll the fenders

    edit: 35 offset

and saleens are a lower offset than you have, so they'll have more potential for rubbing.

until you see what kind of monster trucking youll do once you upgrade your wheel size. wheel gap is going to be increased and youre going to be pissed...or at least i would be.

If tire size is kept the same, ie 245/45/18, wheel gap will remain unchanged.
