I couldn't believe it. My neighbor said his cousin just got bought an '06 GP that had 17" chrome American Racing rims that he was going to swap out for factory at a local junk yard. Told him to have him come over and look at mine before he did that (because I had no plugs, busted belts, etc. on my tires and I knew mine handled smooth). So, the next day his cousin came over...and so my '07 now has chrome 17" rims. Damn, I guess it does pay off to wait it out for a little bit. And the only thing I have invested is taking my car to my buddy's house to reset the "Tire Monitor System" code that triggered off. Take a look at the new pics on my profile and feel free to let me know what you think. I'm happy now....except for I'm going to tint the windows this month, get some rear LED's <-----can't make my mind up which style would look good on mine though, and some aftermarket headlights, then......THE ENGINE!!!!!!!!!

By aftermarket headlights I hope you mean "retrofit" because based on what I've seen you'll be EXTREMELY disappointed in the 04+ style projector output.

I also am not a fan of said wheels, but scoring rims is a +1 in any case. Leastwise if you decided you didn't like them you could earn some profit on them.

Anything you might have for a reference Sean? I'm not an extreme huge fan of them but anything is better than the stock look. I have been wanting to do Flip heads and tails but then I have to send them out and all that good stuff and I don't have a spare set. And another thing I was thinking was if (which I hope like hell wouldn't happen) get into an accident then I'm not sure of the replacement on them with an insurance company if I have them customized.

I would be pretty easy to paint the insides yourself. Bake them in the oven, pry off the lenses, paint the insides (just leave the reflectors there unless you retro) then reseal them. A lot of 04+ guys do that.

I've been trying extremely hard as well to avoid getting into accidents (even though I'd LOVE more insurance money) just because of my retro. Insurance is going to go based on stock parts unless you have some special insurance.
