So I did a search and don't see a while lot about tires, mostly rims. I'm needing a new set and was looking to see what tires are good for the money. I'm looking for a decent all season tire that's not gonna kill my wallet. Belle Tire is pushing the Mastercraft brand and they seem to have good reviews. Any thoughts on them or recommendation on something better for the money?

for all we know you drive a tricycle with dubs.

I like round tires. Michelins are tough to screw up.

He has a 04 GTP. Stock tire is 225/55/R17, assuming he has stock rims.

EDIT: Woops, 225/55/R17... not 225/50/R17 - my bad.

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I have the pilot sports on my modded regal, and the potenza's on my 04 GTP. 245/45/R17 fits just snug on the stock wheels.

I've been happy with BF Goodrich Advantage T/As. Pretty good bang for the buck IMO.

BTW, Does anyone know what that original stock tires were on the 97-03 GTPs?

Ok this may seem like a goofy question, but what difference does it make? I mean if it's an 01 GP vs. an 09 does that make one tire better or worse than another? But yes, it's 04 GTP with stock rims.

The Pilot and Potenza both look like great tires, but they're slightly out of my price range right now. I'm looking for something in the $100-$150 a tire range. Thanks guys

Would you cheap out on your brake pads?

It's not a matter of cheaping out, can't pay what I ain't got.
And I run $25 brake pads all day long on all my vehicles. I've never had an issue.
