    Found a set of 4 chrome torque star wheels on a grand prix that was in a junkyard. they look in great shape. Not bent and only a little curb rash. They want 200 for all 4. Does this sound like a good price for these?

    Not really...I'd pay probably 100-150 for them from a junkyard.

    I'd offer no more than 125. I've seen really mint sets go for around 200 or so depending on who had them etc.

    Those are the rims I want to get next time I need to get tires. I hate the crosslace on my car now, they are so hard to clean, not to mention they are just not 1.618!

    I know. Is that not a steal, lol... I'd love to get my hands on a set of 4 torque stars for $44. Lightest of the factory rims and bling FTW.

    This is an exerpt from a post by matt:

    torque star = 14-15lbs
    crosslace = 15lbs? (not 100%sure)
    flat 5 star = 17lbs-18lbs? (not 100% sure)
    snow flake (3 star) = 21-22lbs

    I've seen a few sets around the STL area for sale but none of them were clean enough (too much curb rash for me). Still half tempted to just grab a set of used 18x9 bullits and have them either powdered black w/ a polished lip or blue like the car w/ a polished lip.

    the ABS (flat 5 as you call them) are close to the torque stars in weight.
