Firstly, hello, all. This is my first post, I apologize for the "will these fit" topic.
My new ride is a 2001 Grand Prix GT Sedan, and I would like to replace the torque stars with something tougher-looking. Now, I've noticed that most people who want to deviate from the stock wheel size want to go with larger diameter wheels and smaller tires. I very much prefer the old school look of a smaller wheel and a fat tire.
The wheels I am looking at are Cragar 15x7's with + 24.5mm offset. I intend to have 225/70R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's mounted on them (raised white letters, of course, for the old school look). This setup will supposedly push the tire out by just over an inch, and end up 11mm taller than stock overall tire height.
My question is, given the taller tire and lower offset, will I be able to get away with these without rolling the fenders or having caliper clearance issues? Anything else I should consider before investing in the new shoes?
