I wouldn't risk it. Would probably have to have them filled and then powdercoated.

paint the lip on the wheel and you probably wont be able to tell that much.

Or try painting the engraved letters a silver that closely matches the lip itself. Would still be visable, but not as bold as being in black on a silver lip.

I found someone on kijji that could remove it so i might go to them but I'm going to call some other rim shops in my city, see what there prices are.
