Well, then it looks like those rims won't work at all.
My TSWs were a 73.1 hub bore.....I needed hub centric rings.
Some will say you can get by without them.
So hub centric rings will make the wheels fit or is it still not guaranteed?
Hub centrics are for bigger than stock bore.
Those 57mm bores are 14m smaller than our cars, they would never fit. It's not a good idea to machine the rims either.

Damn, now I gotta look for different wheels. The ones I wanted were Avant Garde M220s. Need to find something in that style but would fit. Going for classy style to maintain sleeper look but need 18s because future brake upgrade.
if you are going to get a good deal on the wheels literally anyone with a lathe can open up the hub bore for probably like $20/wheel max. it'll take them a half hour.
So I have myself an 01 GT with the factory 16" rims and the wonderful donut spare.... so I am looking to buck the trend and I am actually looking to go with 15" wheels and tires. I would think it shouldnt be an issue as the SE came with 15s... but I did find out with my 99 Bonneville that 96 vintage GP SE 15" rims wouldnt clear my front breaks.
half hour was a bit of an exaggeration. you have to write the program quickly and then it's off to the races. once you get the program written the hardest part is zeroing out each time you put the new wheel in.
all i'm saying is it'll be fairly inexpensive and it'd be a same day turnaround unless they're currently in the middle of another project.
I'd be more inclined to have it done on a milling center. Use a Renishaw probe to find the exact center of the current hole and bam, 2 minutes of machining no worrying about if it's not concentric.
will 18X8 gxp wheels with dr on them fit on my 2001 GTP lowered ~1.5" found a good deal on a set and want to make sure they will fit.
What size are the DR?
I'm not sure, I forgot to ask.
245/40/18 pretty sure these will fit fine, right?
Yup. You should be fine!
Is that a good tire size for that wheel
Not sure as far as a DR is concerned but most us guys run 245/45/18 on a 18" wheels
I'm sure other will chime in soon enough to correct me if I'm wrong.
Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial P245/40 R18 this is what the tires are
