yeah thanks man. i find myself staring at the car especially the front end a lot now, still trying to get used to the look. i'm just hoping that an alignment solves the semi-rough ride right now. i'll tell you guys how it goes later tonight after i get it done.
u gotta slam it now! its way too high.
yeah, the stance is taking some getting used to but once the car is out on the road driving it looks so much better than at a stand still. i know that sounds weird but i had 2 other people tell me that too. anyway i know you don't like tires that stick out past the fenders but thanks for the compliment on the wheels...
I got my first head turner this morning when I stopped to get gas. A guy in a black 97-03 grand prix got done filling up then started to pull out when he saw my car. He then looped all the way around the gas station again until he got back to me and asked "hey I like those, are they from a mustang"? I said yeah and he gave me a thumbs up, said he thought they look great and pulled away. He looked like he was in his 20's and it kinda made me feel good so atleast someone likes them besides me. Funny though, his face when he first saw them looked like thishaha...
I actually didn't get my alignment done. I brought the car into midas and they informed me that my front left outer tie rod end and my front right wheel hub/ bearing were bad or faulty. The guy at Midas said that an alignment wouldn't really do anything for my car until the parts are replaced so I guess I know what I'll be doing this Saturday. Clubgp had some really good write ups and advice to make it a bit easier for me when I tackle all this bs. I'm going with a Moog Tie Rod End and a MI Bearings LLC Wheel Hub Bearing Assembly. I knew these parts were getting old and worn out but I didn't fully notice them until I put the Mach 1's on with their low profile tires (not as much cushion as my Michelen's I guess). So I'll keep you all posted on the progress.
