245 is about the widest you can go. compare that size to the stock tire diameter with a tire size calculator.

ok i just did that and this is what i came up with, it says the width range of the 245 is 7-8.5 and im pretty sure the stock rim is 6.5 wide.....
Stock Tire - 225/55R17
section width-8.85
rim width range 6-8
diameter difference
Tire 1 - 245/50R17
9.64
7-8.5

the stock rim is 6.5" or 7" wide, which means you can run a 245 series tire MAX. its been done many times, but its really up to you if you want to pay for the extra bit of thread width.

alright thanks for the help Bio, just wanted to make sure 100% im gonna go with them because i found a pretty good deal on some used ones.
