the guy wants 600 for them is that too steep or should i go with some gxp rims
Do you have a link to the item for sale? Kinda hard for us to tell if we can't see what kind of wheels and what shape. As stated in earlier threads about wheels/tires GXP have two different rim sizes to compensate for handling. You would have to get four of the same size or 4 gxp fronts for that to work.
i dont have a link its from a guy that had them sitting out at a shop i know the brand is epic wheels i will try to find them online and get a link posted
Epic Precision Alloy Wheels n Rims this is a link to those wheels they are the palm beach
Look nice to me. I'd say try to see if they will take a bit less though. But first, what make/model are the tires? How much tread do they have left? If the tires are good brand in really good shape they might be able to get 600 for them.
If they are a crappy tire, I wouldn't buy them if they were 400. That's just me though. Just don't want to have to buy brand new tires if you can get both that are good from another car.
the tires are falken 452 with about 50-60% tread lefthttp://www.wheelsnext.com/images/wheels/large/FALKEN_FK452_TREAD.jpg
id talk to them and see if they will let you test fit them and offer 500 for them
Looks good to me. Those tires are over $180 each, so brand new just the tires would have been more than $600. Factor in that they have about 1/2 tread left and add price of wheels. I would ask them if they would take $500 or so. If not i'd look for some other wheels from pretty much anything that is 5x114.3 and isn't off for bore.
thanks guys i will try them on first and see if they will fit.the guy has put them out for sale everyday since the begining of march so i think he will take less for them.
wheels should fit, eclipse is a FWD car so they have higher offsets. the bolt pattern is good and so is the hub bore. those tires are also very nice, i ran them on my 19s and couldnt complain one bit.
i dont have a computer at home right now, thats why i cant answer as quickly.
the guy seems to know nothing about these wheels he said that he is selling them for his son and that his son is in iraq so when he calls he will ask him what his bottom dollar is and get back with me
