    i think the biggest problem is the wheel does not sit on the hub. when you ad spacers your wheel is hanging on by just the studs and not the center hub. like when people put aftermarket wheels on and the hole in the wheel does not sit flush with the hub of the car. Thats where the hub centric rings come in. But with a wheel adapter spacer. there is no center hub.
    Im getting ready to do a little swap that includes vette wheels on a wbody. THis will be lovely.(no adapters spacers)

    THANK YOU!! Someone who has a damn clue! I really didn't wanna type anything else on the useless thread but i'm happy someone else here understands how wheels are mounted on a hub! You get 8 points for not being an idiot!!

    Im just curious are going to be putting Corvette spindles, hub and rotors on your grand prix?

    How is adding a 5mm spacer to a +40mm offset wheel any worse than a +35mm wheel?
