i've been thinking about bullitt rims for my gp and i've been doing some searching around the forum to get info on size and offset. I went to the american muscle website and I cant find any bullitt rims with an offset higher than 30mm. I dont want any rubbing problems and I want to try and avoid rolling my fenders, but i'll do it if i have to. i know you guys said 30 to 40 mm range for 9" wide, but how would 17x8's fit with a 30mm offset?

the 17x8s are the 99 cobra rims right? they fit.

you CAN fit 17x9 with a +24mm offset (cobra R), but the fact that your going to rub is probably going to scare you. if you roll and pull the fenders you could probably run them just fine.

my dad got rims for his truck that rub a little, it's nothing too serious. he just kinda has to bear with it when he makes sharp turns

rolling the fenders is easy. pulling them without creasing them is not as easy.

Dang people not to be a dick but find the search button and run almost any mustang wheel 18 inch or less and 9 inches wide or less will fit. 9's pushing it but with the right offest its doable. Mustang wheels need a sticky instead of filling the forums with what will and wont work.

thats why they need to make someone a moderator that actually goes to each forum area so we can make good stickies.

Thanks for the help and I don't mean to keep asking the same questions. I use the search button and I hadn't seen anything about 30mm offset. But a sticky on rims would be a very good idea especially if it had some pictures showing different offsets. But thanks again guys, I check this forum more than I check my email haha
